Quad-Core Opteron

すごいなしかし。QuadはSocket939/940には来ないのかも知れないが、それでも面白い。個人的にはこれで宅鯖立てて今まで糞重かったサービスを余裕で提供できそうな点で興味深い。別に今のDual Opteronでもいいわけだけれども、やっぱり今の今まで1000万円以上したようなシステムをダウンサイジングするところに夢があるわけで。
あとは、16プロセッサのブレードサーバーとか登場した日にはかなり萌える。間違いない。
