939Dual-SATA2に難儀
早速、購入したパーツで新しくPCを組み立てるが、このマザーボードにちょっと苦戦した。
まずUltraATAポートがかなり下のほうに位置し、またPCI-Expressのスロットが2基あるためにAGPが通常よりもかなり下のほうに位置する。ビデオカードがちょっと長めだともうHDDを装着するシャドウベイとかなり近い位置まで来てしまい、ビデオカードとHDDでちょうどケースの上部と下部をほとんど遮断してしまうような形になってしまう。UltraATAポートから通常最も上に配置する光学ディスクドライブとフラットケーブルで接続する際に引き回しが非常に面倒で、またケース内部のエアフローにもかなり悪影響になりやすい。
もうひとつが、ATX電源コネクタのすぐ脇に大き目のコンデンサがあり、これが20pin/24pin兼用の電源の20pinと4pinの端子の接合部にぶつかる場合があり、ちょっと加工しないと刺さらなかったこと。電源との相性の問題でもあるが、コネクタの周りに余裕がないというのは若干辛いところではある。
ともかくなんとか動作してインストールすることが出来たが、熱暴走などの原因にならないかが心配なところだ。
