Athlon64 X2の価格改定
最近のAthlon64の値下げに加えてついにX2も大幅値下げへ。4万円以上も出して買った我がAthlon64 X2 3800+も対象で、今まで3万円台で高値安定していたのが2万円前後まで一気に下がりそうな感じ。いずれ来るとはわかっていたけどいざ来てみると精神的に辛いわあ。
DELLが9月以降にAMD搭載デスクトップを発売するのではないかという話も関係があるのだろうか。ここへ来てAMDは出荷量を大幅に上げる自信をつけているように思う。だが一方で、IntelがCore2Duoを投入することで、Athlon64 X2の価値が維持できなくなるという判断でやむを得ず値下げしたというところもあるだろう。
DELLとしてはなんやかや理由をつけてある程度の性能のCPUを安く買い叩ければいいわけで、AMDが性能などで負けはじめるが、供給能力は増えるというこのタイミングでAMDを採用するというのは合理的なのだろう。なかなかシビアなものだ。

Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?
