今更やっと気がついたかという・・・

だいぶ前に書いたことだけれども、簡単に言えばニートという現象は広い意味で「能力」が関わっていることと考えていい。
それは普通人間が当たり前に持っていたものであり特に意識して「能力」だとは思われていなかったようなことだ。時間軸に対しての空間認知能力とでも言い換えればわかりやすいかも知れない。それこそが人間に特有のもので、高度な社会を築き上げてきた源泉とも言えるだろう。
それが低下している状況でそれを端に置いて職業訓練めいたことばかりやっても意味がないというのは当たり前のことだ。
しかし、「発達障害」というカテゴリーにあてはめてしまって、それに対する旧来の対処のスキームを適用するがゆえに、結局やることがどうやって彼らを働かせるか、そのために環境を変えていこう、ということに留まってしまっている。彼ら自身の人生をどうしていくのかという観点の話にはやや遠い。
仮に「発達障害」としても、その上で彼ら自身を変える方向での話をしていかないと、どんどん「発達障害」が増殖していくことへの歯止めにならないし、将来的にあまり好ましい方向へは進まないだろうと思うのだが。
