GALAXY GeForce7900GS購入
TSUKUMO ex.にてGALAXYのGF-P79GS-Z/512D3を気絶（この言い方も懐かしいが）。
PCI-Expressの電源変換ケーブルが付属していて、とりあえず挿して繋いでみたら簡単に起動した。
せっかくなんでソーサリアンオンラインを1920x1200にして遊んでみる。うーむ、美しい。続いてフェルガナの誓いを1600x1200 4xAA 4xANISOで動かしてみる。これは以前のVRAM128MBだったら不可能な設定。さすがにカクついたりするんじゃないかなーと思いながらやってみると普通に200～400fps出て驚いた。すげえ。超美麗。フルHDにFSAAというのはこういうのが当たり前の世界なんだと思ったら凄い。
負荷をかけても落ちたりゴミが出たりしないので、特に電源を交換したりする必要もないようだ。
とりあえずこれでVRAM512MBになりWindowsVISTAが十分動く環境になり、殆どの3Dゲームもスルスル動くようになったので暫くは落ち着けるだろう。
