幸福実現党の失敗の原因
恐らくやりようによっては幸福実現党はその勢力、人的資源からしていくらかの議席を獲得して公明党的なポジションを獲得することは不可能ではなかった。しかし、いくつかのファンブルによって議席を獲得することはおよそ不可能になってしまった。
まず、短期間に代表が2度も交代し、しかも民主的な手順を踏んでおらず、さらに幸福の科学の代表と同一人物が総裁になってしまったということが最大の敗因だ。党の顔として饗庭氏が一貫して代表を務めていれば幸福の科学と一定の距離を保ちつつ保守勢力の一つとして一定の信頼を得ることが可能となっただろう。実際初めて映像で見た饗庭氏の印象はさわやかで理知的であり、好感を得るには十分な人格だったと思える。
そして、奇抜な政策や、明らかに幸福の科学への利益誘導を連想させる綱領などの方針を打ち出したこと。これはせっかく支持層となるはずの保守層からの支持をみすみす逃してしまう結果となった。大量移民政策、共和制への移行というのは保守派が支持できる政策ではない。
それから幸福の科学の信者から知名度のある人間や、地方議会の現職議員などを候補者の大量擁立と話題確保のために総動員してしまい、しかも幸福の科学の信者であることをおおっぴらに認める形になってしまったこと。知名度のある人間にとっては普通、その人が幸福の科学の信者であるということはマイナスに働き、基本的にはその潜在的な得票の可能性を一気に落としてしまう。
基本的にはこれらのことは、要するに幸福実現党が幸福の科学と独立した存在ではなくて、大川隆法の指示に従う下部組織としてしか存在していないことに起因する。もちろん饗庭氏からすれば最初はその独立性を保ってきちんとやっていこうと思っていたかも知れないが、エル・カンターレの指示で代表を降りろということにもなれば抗うことは不可能なのだろう。大川隆法が基本的に気分屋であることを考えれば、幸福の科学は独立した組織を信者中心に作るということには向いていないようにも思える。
ともかく既に幸福実現党というのは独立した政党という見方は不可能であり、そして大川隆法が代表である以上は信者以外の人間にとっては極めて投票しづらい存在である。もうこの衆院選で議席を獲得する可能性は限りなくゼロに近く、逆転の可能性は万に一つもないだろう。
